Metsä Fibre's safest service supplier in 2012 is Delete Puhdistuspalvelu Oy

Metsä Fibre has selected Delete Puhdistuspalvelu Oy as its safest service supplier in 2012. Zero accidents is the goal of Metsä Fibre. In addition to internal staff, the company's safety management principles apply to all of the company's service suppliers.

Delete Puhdistuspalvelu is committed to adhering to Metsä Fibre's safety management principles and goal of zero accidents. Delete Puhdistuspalvelu's operating safety at Metsä Fibre mills has been excellent: At Kemi mill, Delete Puhdistuspalvelu has worked without any accidents since June 2010, and at Rauma mill, the period without any accidents started in 2006, continuing throughout 2012. The company has been selected several times as the safest service supplier of Rauma mill.

Delete Puhdistuspalvelu staff have performed active preventive safety work through safety observations and safety inspections, and closely participated in taking corrective action to improve safety.

Metsä Fibre is a leader in occupational safety in the forest industry. In the last five years, the accident frequency has fallen to one fourth of the initial level. In 2012, the accident frequency was 7.1 (the number of accidents per one million worked hours). Metsä Fibre annually evaluates the safety of its service suppliers.
