Metsä Group Release 8 May 2014

There is more to a tree than meets the eye. Come and meet us at Paper Square to see how you can make the most of Metsä.

For the first time, Metsä Group will be exhibiting its products and services at the PulPaper exhibition under theme “There is more to Metsä than meets the eye.” Through the participation, we also celebrate our 80-year anniversary in the forefront of the Finnish forest industry. Today, Metsä Group is an international forest industry group whose products’ main raw material is renewable and sustainably grown northern wood. Over 80 per cent of the wood we use is certified.

Sustainable product innovations to global markets

Metsä Board recently introduced new fit-for-purpose products Modo Northern Light linerboard and Carta Allura folding boxboard. A brand new product range for food service and packaging will be launched at the fair.

Metsä Fibre’s two new pulp grades Botnia Nordic Pine+ and Botnia Nordic Strong+ are based on a polysulfide method. These new pulps enable significant cost savings and improvements in end-product properties.

Metsä Tissue’s tissue and cooking papers bring comfort to people’s everyday life. They are designed to improve health, hygiene and wellbeing. Our main brands are Lambi, Serla, Mola, Tento, Katrin and SAGA.

Come and learn more about our products and services!
