Metsä Group closes the divestment of its pole business

On 14 January 2015, Metsäliitto Cooperative, the parent company of Metsä Group, announced the divestment of the entire share capital of Metsä Wood’s UK-based pole business subsidiary Burt Boulton & Haywood Ltd (BBH) to ScanPole Ltd. The divestment was finalised on 2 February 2015. The transaction does not have a significant impact on Metsä Wood’s financial results.
