Metsä Tissue awarded the EcoVadis Platinum rating for its sustainability performance for the second year in a row
For the second year in a row, Metsä Tissue has been awarded the highest Platinum rating in the EcoVadis sustainability and social corporate responsibility assessment. Metsä Tissue is also in the top 1% in the paper and paperboard manufacturer category. As before, the company has received 90/100 points for its environmental performance, and Metsä Tissue improved its performance in the Ethics and Sustainable procurement sectors, where our operations and reporting follows high requirements.

The rating helps us outline and track the progress of our sustainable development efforts in relation to our competitors and provides direction for our future development efforts. EcoVadis, which evaluates corporate responsibility internationally, has developed a platform that enables companies to evaluate the performance of their suppliers in environmental and social responsibility worldwide.
