Metsä Wood press release 21 December 2012

Metsä Wood shows its sustainable and competitive systems and products at the BAU 2013 fair in Munich, Germany, on 14–19 January 2013. BAU is a leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems that exhibits innovations and new developments for residential and commercial construction and interior fit-out.

Metsä Wood presents at the fair its Kerto building systems: the Kerto-Ripa and Kerto Concepts as well as Leno, Finnjoist and Plywood products. The Kerto® LVL (laminated veneer lumber) is a highly flexible material made in Finland of softwood veneer by gluing. It has been used successfully in the timber construction for decades and it is ideal for projects demanding dimension-stable, weather-proof and high-strength materials.

For those seeking design and premium wooden surfaces, Metsä Wood’s answer is a wide range of visible surfaces and plywood products with a broad variety of design possibilities. Visit Metsä Wood at the stand number 310 in hall B 5. The fresh and inviting fair stand is aimed at trade professionals such as architects, engineers and processors.
