Metsäliito takes into use a cost-efficient group level mobility solution (8 December 2005)

Metsäliitto Group has signed a three-year deal with France Telecom Group on a
group-level mobility solution. Equant's Business Everywhere solution will
connect Group's mobile and home office workers around the world to their
companies' IT systems. 


 

Metsäliitto Group's business areas have until now had several individual mobile
solutions. Through centralisation Metsäliitto gains clear cost-savings. In
addition to this, the solution delivers high and consistent level of security. 

 

”With Business Everywhere we significantly reduce complexity and the
administrative cost of managing multiple vendor relations. Moreover, we will
increase our operational efficiency through higher productivity of our mobile
and home office workers”, said Olavi Maanavilja, chairman of Metsäliitto's CIO
Group.
