METSÄLIITTO TO ISSUE A DOMESTIC BOND

Metsäliitto has decided to issue a domestic bond to Finnish investors with a
maximum value of EUR 200 million.

OKO Bank Corporation and Sampo Bank plc will act as joint lead managers for the
bond. An application to list the bond on the Helsinki Stock Exchange will be
filed.

The bond issue is part of Metsäliitto Cooperative's normal financing of
operations.
