New members for the Metsä-Botnia Board of Directors working group

Two new members have been appointed to the Metsä-Botnia Board of Directors
working group. They are Jussi Pesonen, Senior Executive Vice President and COO
of UPM-Kymmene Corporation, and Aarre Metsävirta, Executive Vice President,
M-real Corporation. 


The other members of the working group are Jouko Jaakkola, President of M-real
Corporation, and Heikki Sara, Senior Vice President, UPM-Kymmene Corporation,
both of whom are members of the company's Board of Directors. The working group
also comprises Metsä-Botnia's Managing Director Erkki Varis and Jukka
Forsström, who is Secretary to the working group. The function of the working
group is to prepare matters for consideration by the Board of Directors.
