Pulp sales arrangements at Metsä-Botnia

Following the integration discussions concerning MoDo Paper market pulp it has
been agreed that the sales of chemical market pulps of Metsä-Serla will be
channelled through Botnia Pulps, the marketing organisation of Oy Metsä-Botnia
Ab. Botnia Pulps organisation takes the responsibility of sales for deliveries
from 1.1.2001 onwards. 

The new arrangement covers the pulp sales from Husum, Alizay, Stockstadt and
Hallein. The total capacity of these four mills is 1.3 million tonnes, of which
approximately 150 000 tonnes is market pulp. 

Oy Metsä-Botnia Ab has sales offices in Wiesbaden (Germany), London (UK) and
Paris (France) and has agency agreements with representatives in the main
