METSÄ TISSUE'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS'S PROPOSAL OF DIVIDEND TO THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 18.3 The Board of Directors of Metsä Tissue Corporation has decided to propose to the company's Annual General Meeting, to be held on 18 March 2003, that no dividend is distributed for the financial period that ended on 31 December 2002. Summons to annual general meeting The shareholders of Metsä Tissue Corporation are invited to attend the company's Annual General Meeting, to be held on Tuesday, 18 March 2003, beginning at 1.00 pm, in the Auditorium at Metsätapiola, address Revontulentie 6, 02100 Espoo, Finland. The meeting will deal with matters pertaining to the Annual General Meeting as stipulated in the Companies Act and in § 9 of the company's Articles of Association. Shareholders who are registered at the latest by Friday, 8 March 2003 in the list of shareholders kept by Finnish Central Securities Depository Ltd, or holders of nominee-registered shares who are registered temporarily in the company's list of shareholders by the same date, have the right to attend the Meeting.
