Metsä Group closes the divestment of Metsä Wood Merk GmbH

On 11 March 2013, Metsä Group's parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative and Ed. Züblin AG Group announced an agreement on a transaction in which Metsäliitto Cooperative divests the shares of Metsä Wood Merk GmbH to Ed. Züblin AG Group. The transaction was closed on 22 April 2013 after the approval of German Competition Authorities. The transaction does not cause any significant capital gain.

Metsä Wood Merk GmbH was a subsidiary of Metsä Wood Deutschland GmbH. German-based Ed. Züblin AG Group is part of the Strabag Group.
