Metsäliitto Cooperative to issue EUR 175 million bond

Metsä Group Stock Exchange Release 22 November 2012 at 4.00 pm EET

Metsä Group’s parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative will issue a EUR 175 million bond to institutional investors. The bond matures on 29 November 2017, and it carries a fixed coupon interest rate of 5.125 per cent per annum.

The bond was significantly oversubscribed. An application will be made to list the bond on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki.

The proceeds from the bond offering will be used to repay existing debt. Nordea Markets and Pohjola Markets acted as joint arrangers and bookrunners for the transaction.
