Metso highlights its latest minerals processing innovations at Metso Summit
Metso Corporation’s press release on July 15, 2026, at 09:00 a.m. EEST
Metso will introduce its latest technologies and innovations for the mining industry at Metso Summit, the company’s first-ever global virtual launch event at this scale. The event will take place on September 10, 2026, and will be accessible to customers, partners and media worldwide.
“Metso Summit brings together our latest breakthrough technologies for minerals processing that are redefining our customers’ flowsheet performance. As mining operations work to improve productivity and reduce environmental impact, our latest product launches support these goals by improving efficiency, reliability and long-term value across operations,” says Sami Takaluoma, President and CEO of Metso.
The event will feature keynote speeches and customer presentations, alongside expert-led sessions showcasing new solutions across crushing, screening, grinding, and flotation, as well as digital technologies and aftermarket services.
What will be showcased?
At Metso Summit, participants will gain insights into Metso’s latest innovations designed to support more efficient, sustainable and productive mining operations.
- Unmatched crushing with Primarok, Optirok, and Durarok: In June 2026, Metso expanded its offering for primary crushing applications. Designed for high capacity and reliability, Metso's new crushers improve uptime while enabling faster maintenance through better access to key components. Enhanced safety features reduce exposure to high-risk tasks and support safer maintenance practices.
- Unlocking greater performance in conventional screening with the Metso GFF Series screens: Combining hybrid flip-flow and linear-motion screening, the solution enables accurate dry classification down to 0.3 mm, without process water. It eliminates blinding, sustains throughput and supports more efficient HPGR circuits, improving process stability, uptime and total cost of ownership.
- Sustainable comminution with Metso Loesche VRM: Introduced in early 2026, the solution enables dry grinding in minerals processing and sets a new benchmark for sustainable comminution. With up to 40% lower energy consumption, high throughput, and superior mineral liberation, the Metso Loesche VRM helps operations reduce energy use, emissions and operating costs while optimizing water consumption and maximizing recovery.
- A breakthrough in flotation recovery technology: At the Metso Summit, we will unveil a game-changing approach to flotation that challenges conventional flowsheet design, delivering higher recovery and redefining energy and water efficiency.
- Advances in digital solutions: During the event, Metso will introduce new digital solutions to optimize production and close the gap between planning and execution. Linking planning with equipment and process performance enables plants to respond faster to changing conditions while improving predictability, productivity and resource efficiency.
By combining innovation, process expertise, maintenance optimization and digital solutions, Metso helps customers increase throughput, reduce energy and water use, and optimize operations across the entire value chain.
