Metso Outotec starts negotiations concerning reorganization of its Sweden operations

Metso Outotec has convened local trade unions to negotiations concerning the restructuring and operational reduction of its operations in Sweden. The measures relate to new product strategy and business model changes and synergy targets from the Metso Outotec merger.
The Swedish operations have issued a negotiation proposal, according to which the total reduction need in Sweden is approximately 80 white collar positions mainly in the Minerals, Metals and Services business areas in the Skellefteå and Sala locations. Other locations may be impacted to a small extent.
