Metso’s local consultation processes completed in the Minerals equipment business

Metso has completed the local consultation processes announced on May 6, 2024, concerning the restructuring of parts of the Minerals equipment business and the related market area operations.  

As a result of the consultations, 69 positions will be reduced in Finland, of which 31 are redundancies. In total, approximately 220 positions will be reduced globally. Additionally, temporary layoffs with maximum length of 90 days will be put into effect in the Filtration business line in Finland in 2024. Metso supports the re-employment of the laid-off persons.
