Outotec and Newcrest Mining agree on strategic partnership in technology development

Outotec and Newcrest Mining have signed an agreement on strategic collaboration in technology development and using new metallurgical technologies in Newcrest's businesses.

Outotec, a global leader in minerals and metals processing technology, has broad expertise in processes and technologies relating to the treatment of a wide variety of ores and secondary raw materials. Newcrest is one of the world's largest gold and copper mining companies based in Melbourne, Australia with global operations. With this new strategic partnership and the combined resources of Outotec and Newcrest, the companies aim to develop and commercialize new, groundbreaking and environmentally sound technologies for the production of precious and other metals.
