NEW YORK, NY–– (February 23, 2011) Renowned Manhattan retailer Michael C. Fina announced today that a selection of pieces from the esteemed Temple St. Clair fine jewelry and wedding ring collections are now available at their store, located at 545 Fifth Avenue.

From her signature rock crystal amulets to her bridal collection, Temple St. Clair is known for modern classic style, an impeccable use of fine colored gemstones and distinctive gold work. Her romantic pieces have been worn by Hollywood favorites like Julia Roberts and have been featured in major fashion publications like Harper's Bazaar, Town&Country, WWD, and Vogue regularly.

"We're thrilled to be working with a jeweler with such a distinguished history as Michael C. Fina,” said founder Temple St. Clair Carr.  “Michael C. Fina is the perfect venue to launch our new Temple St. Clair engagement line along with our classic collections.”

The addition of the Temple St. Clair line speaks to Michael C. Fina’s passion for providing meticulously crafted pieces with rich history to their customers and continuing to offer the most extensive selection of engagement rings and wedding bands from the country’s leading design houses in every style and design aesthetic. Michael C. Fina is one of only two retail locations carrying the wedding ring collection in the United States, and the only one on the East Coast.

“What I love most about Temple St. Clair is that each piece tells a story, whether about history, nature, astrology, or humanity. When you purchase a piece of jewelry from Michael C. Fina, it is helping you create a special moment in your own history, and what better way to commemorate a milestone than with a piece that not only conveys beauty, but also deep meaning,” said Steven Fina, VP of Michael C. Fina.

Temple St. Clair Fine Jewelry was founded in 1986 in Florence, Italy by designer Temple St. Clair Carr. In the process of completing her master’s degree in classical Italian studies, her mother visited her in Florence and wanted an ancient coin set into a necklace. They found a coin with a Carthaginian goddess and were then introduced to a talented goldsmith; from there her namesake collection of fine jewelry was born. In combining exquisite materials and craftsmanship in an old world tradition with an independent and modern spirit of design, Temple creates distinctive jewelry for the modern woman.
