Hill Climb Racing 2 adds a creative mode track editor: Create. Climb. Conquer!
Fingersoft, a Finnish mobile games company, is thrilled to announce a game-changing update for its hit game Hill Climb Racing 2. This update includes a track editor, available for all players, which unlocks a whole new way to enjoy the game by unleashing their creativity.
The track editor delivers unprecedented control and creative freedom, and offers an innovative and intuitive control system that anyone can use; Just tap and draw! In creative mode, players can easily create, play, and share their own tracks in Hill Climb Racing 2. The update has been globally released on all platforms.
“We are committed to continuously improving our games and providing players with fresh content and an entertaining gaming experience. This update is the result of tireless dedication from our development team and feedback from our passionate player community. With the track editor, we're putting the game's creative control in the hands of our players, and we can't wait to see the incredible tracks they come up with," says Jaakko Kylmäoja, CEO at Fingersoft.
Creative mode and its Track Editor were first made available in Early Access for VIP subscribers in the previous release. Based on the positive early reception, it is evident that there is a huge demand for this new feature, which makes every player the architect of their very own ultimate racing experience.
So far, Fingersoft has seen many different kinds of trending track types. Especially “benchmarking” and experimental track designs, as players put the industry-leading physics engine through its paces, and also in creating super challenging tracks that push the skill and ingenuity of even the world’s best players to the limit.
“Creating a track editor has been my vision and dream for a long time. The development was originally started in 2017, but it accidentally turned into a small spinoff game ("Road Finger"). I had some free development time last year and got back to the idea of building an editor for our core fans. It feels great to finally have it in the hands of the players, and the response has been overwhelming. Our core fans have already created unbelievable things with it, and this is just the beginning. We will keep expanding the feature set to allow for even more creativity in the coming updates,” says Marko Brockman, game developer at Fingersoft.
A special live stream
Fingersoft will be hosting a special Halloween livestream on YouTube, where the developers will play tracks made by the community live on stream. It will also provide players with some developer insights via a Q&A timeslot, as well as showcasing the newest vehicle, the Rock Bouncer. Players can join the stream on Tuesday, October 31 at 16:00 EET (UTC +2:00) via the official Fingersoft YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@FingersoftLtd or look for details on the official Hill Climb Racing social media channels.
Hill Climb Racing 2 is available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store. The new update is now free for all users.
