ISECS Appoints Juan Carlos Medrano Castro as Board Director and Regional Ambassador for South America

Renowned Trade Compliance Expert to Spearhead ISECS Expansion into Central and South American Markets

The International Sanctions and Export Control Society (ISECS), the leading organization dedicated to the mastery of sanctions and export controls, today announced the appointment of Juan Carlos Medrano Castro as Board Director and Regional Ambassador for South America. In this dual role, Mr. Medrano Castro will drive ISECS’ strategic expansion across Central and South American countries while serving as a key member of the ISECS Board of Directors.

 

As highly respected authority in global trade compliance, Mr. Medrano Castro brings over 25 years of experience working with multinational companies, governments, and international organizations on export control and sanctions matters. He has held leadership positions at financial institutions across the Americas and he serves as an advisor on the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, and OFAC regulations for financial institutions in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Latin America.

A key priority will be ensuring access to ISECS’ world-class training programs, many of which are being launched in Spanish for the first time.
