Polar, the leader in wearable sports and fitness technology for nearly 50 years, has been awarded this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, the world-renowned design prize. The winning product, Polar Vantage V3 premium multisport watch, won in the discipline Product and in the category Watches / Jewelry.

The latest addition to the popular Polar Vantage V series, Vantage V3 won over the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its entirely new design that is ideal for both sports performance and everyday use. The watch received high marks in all ranked categories and excelled especially in the Form category, receiving a score of 90/100, significantly above the average.

“We are extremely proud of this achievement, which is a testament to the determination, commitment, and eye for detail of our entire company. Winning a design award nowadays needs outstanding and hard work from all company areas, from product decision-making to mechanics and user interface to sourcing. Any shortcomings in these areas would make the product entirely different,” says Sander Werring, CEO of Polar Electro.

Announced in October 2023, Polar Vantage V3 is a premium multisport watch powered by Polar Elixir™ next-generation biosensing technology. Its Nordic-inspired design provides the perfect balance of simplicity, functionality, and durability for everyone who feels and acts like an athlete. Secured by a lightweight aluminum enclosure and a high-resolution AMOLED display, the watch features a dual-frequency GPS, maps, and the most comprehensive suite for training, testing and recovery tools on the market.
