MindGym & Burberry win major award for world-class coaching program
MindGym, behaviour change specialists for the world’s leading companies, and iconic luxury fashion brand Burberry, have been awarded a Brandon Hall Excellence Award for ‘Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring’.
The award recognises the success of a global Executive Development Program (EDP) delivered by MindGym, initially for 80 Directors across Burberry’s global team. Co-created to be distinctly underpinned by Burberry’s leadership standards, the programme aimed to elevate Burberry’s leadership capabilities and garner rapid results.
Empowered by MindGym’s behavioural science-backed proprietary coaching solution, Performa, and underpinned by integrated live, virtual and digital solutions, results have been transformative:
-
85% of managers said their direct report’s performance improved since completing the program
-
88% successfully applied their learnings to their job,
-
Burberry reported a 39% increase in goal attainment.
“The program got into the depth of the science behind leadership and learning with dynamic facilitators – with practical, impactful actions that participants could do inbetween,.” said Kristin Bagnetto, Director of Global Learning and Development at Burberry.
“We have heard delightful stories from the cohort, who made great strides in just three or four sessions. They’ve quickly identified their leadership challenge, made and executed a game plan with their coach and are seeing real- time results. We are delighted to be recognised by Brandon Hall for the truly powerful results we’ve achieved, in partnership with MindGym.”
Out of hundreds of entries, Burberry and MindGym’s story was highlighted as the gold standard for developing the leaders of tomorrow. The Brandon Hall Excellence Awards are evaluated by an international panel of independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and their executive team based on these criteria:
-
Alignment to their business need and environment
-
Program design, functionality, and delivery
-
Adoption, integration, user experience, innovation, and creativity
-
Overall effectiveness, impact, and measurable benefits
“We are delighted that MindGym’s innovative program in partnership with Burberry has been recognised by the prestigious Brandon Hall Excellence Awards,” said Octavius Black, MindGym CEO. “Our purpose is to equip ambitious companies to be ready for tomorrow. This award is a celebration that we are achieving our purpose, and demonstrates the power of behavioural science and the integration of immersive live and virtual learning with Performa’s precision coaching methodology. We are extremely grateful to our clients at Burberry, who chose MindGym to co-create a pioneering, bespoke solution that produced exceptional outcomes.”
"Our award winners are relentless in their pursuit of excellence," said Brandon Hall Group Chief Executive Officer Mike Cooke. "We have received some of the most innovative use of HCM strategy that we have seen in the last 30 years, and in most cases, technology and collaboration across departments have helped them achieve amazing business results."
