Minesto delivers Welsh updates
Earlier this week, Minesto’s CEO Dr Martin Edlund had the honour to update members of the National Assembly for Wales. “It is clear that marine energy is a prioritised area of growth for Wales”, said Martin Edlund. Read more here.
Minesto speakers at Ocean Energy Europe 2017
Minesto’s CTO Bernt Erik Westre is invited as speaker at the Ocean Energy Europe 2017 conference taking place in Nantes next week. Minesto will also take part in a Welsh Government Trade Mission travelling to France. Read more here.
New Cost of Energy analysis reveals substantial improvement
An updated Cost of Energy analysis of Minesto’s unique ocean energy technology shows substantial improvements compared to previous estimates. “These new results convince me that our technology is transforming ocean energy into one of the most cost-effective energy resources”, said Dr Martin Edlund, CEO of Minesto. UK Government boosts renewables with £557M funding
Energy Minister Richard Harrington confirmed earlier in October that up to £557 million will be made available for less established renewable electricity projects as part of the UK government’s Clean Growth Strategy, to drive economic growth and clean up the energy system. Read the full story here.
Minesto awards IT and communication system to ITS Technology Group
Minesto has completed the procurement of an Onshore and Offshore Communication system for the company’s DG500 project in Holyhead, Wales. ITS Technology Group with operations in Wales, England and Scotland and extensive experience in network infrastructure, microwave links, connectivity and managed services, has been chosen as supplier.
