Martin Edlund speaker at international industry conference

Minesto's CEO Martin Edlund has been confirmed as speaker at the seventh edition of the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE), arranged in France in June. ICOE is supported by the by the International Energy Agency through the intergovernmental collaboration Ocean Energy Systems. Read more here.

Million investment in Western Sweden energy innovations

Johanneberg Science Park, Chalmers Ventures and GU Ventures have jointly been commissioned by the Swedish Energy Agency to strengthen start-ups and small and medium-sized companies in western Sweden. The aim is to contribute to the energy system transition both in Sweden and globally in the short and the long term.

Among other things, a Western-Swedish initiative called EnerGo will gather start-ups and SMEs in the energy sector in a cluster and through a range of activities promote knowledge sharing, cooperation and funding opportunities. Read the full press release (in Swedish) from GU Ventures here.

Deep Green GBS arrives in Holyhead

The gravity base structure to be used for the first installation of Minesto's Deep Green technology in Holyhead Deep, Wales was transported this week from Liverpool to Holyhead.

The next step is to fit cable chutes before installation is commenced at the site in Holyhead Deep. Read more and see pictures and videos from the arrival to Holyhead here.
