Shorewood, IL, June 23, 2011 --  MJSI, Inc. today announced that its HydroRight dual flush converter is a winner in the sixth annual Top 10 Green Building Products awards offered by Sustainable Industries magazine. This year’s winners were selected from more than 100 entries based on environmental performance, scalability/market impact, innovativeness, design aesthetic, value and compatibility with the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating system.

The winners were announced today in a web conference featuring Founding Editor and Publisher Brian Back and members of the judges’ panel, presented live from the West Coast Green Salon at PCBC 2011, a premier green building conference center. For the first time, the Top 10 winners will be presented on Sustainable Industries’ new microsite at www.top10greenbuildingproducts.com, which includes 3D models of each product designed by San Francisco’s Igloo Studios. Winners will also be highlighted in the July/August issue of Sustainable Industries magazine.

“The green building industry has seen unprecedented growth and change in the six years that Sustainable Industries has produced the Top 10 Green Building Products awards. This year’s winners reflect the diversity of exciting opportunities in the green building space,” says Brian Back, Founding Editor & Publisher of Sustainable Industries. “We hope that presenting the winners through our new interactive microsite makes these innovative products even more accessible to our audience.”

“It is an incredible honor for the HydroRight dual flush converter to win this award,” said Michael Schuster, president of MJSI. “We believe that dual flush retrofits offer green builders  a way to see significant water savings, gain LEED points and save the expense of buying new toilets without throwing thousands of tons of non-biodegradable porcelain into our country’s overflowing landfills. We are thrilled that the judges see the value of the HydroRight as a water-saving alternative to low-flow toilets for green building renovation projects.”
