MMT at Oceanology International

MMT is exhibiting at Oceanology International for the 7th time. The event takes place at ExCel in London on the 13-15th of March 2018 and MMT will demonstrate the new version of the fast going survey ROV Surveyor Interceptor, now upgraded for UXO inspections. MMT launched the first version of the Surveyor ROV in 2014 at Oceanology International. Since then it has been working on some of Europe’s largest pipeline and cable route projects and has been developed in close cooperation with partners and clients. Baltic Pipe route survey in the North Sea

MMT has been awarded a contract by the Danish energy transmission system operator Energinet as part of the Baltic Pipe project. The assignment includes a route survey for a new offshore pipeline in the North Sea and in Lillebælt, the inner Danish Seas. The pipeline is planned to have landfall on the west coast of Jutland and the total length of the North Sea offshore part of the pipeline is approximately 105km, the Lillebælt area is approximately 5 km . Unique antique shipwrecks detected in the Black Sea

On Tuesday 19th September, after more than a month out on the Black Sea, the third year of the Black Sea MAP marine archaeological project ends. The main objective of the project has been to map the submerged submarine landscapes along the Bulgarian coast. MMT expand their business

During the past year MMT have gained a good market position and in order to keep developing MMT have now taken important steps to continue to grow their business, chartered a new vessel M/V Olympic Delta and invest in Surveyor Interceptor no 2. Both initiatives will expand our possibility to meet customer increased demand for our services.MMT have chartered the DP 2 survey/IMR vessel M/V Olympic Delta on a long-term contract with the Norwegian ship owner Olympic Subsea ASA. Growing demand for marine environmental and habitat services

There is a growing demand from the renewable energy and oil and gas industry on marine mammal observer (MMO) and passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) services. The awareness around marine mammals are constantly evolving and so is the regulations concerning them and their habitats. Hydrographic surveys for MCA in the Shetland Islands

MMT has since 2006 been one of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency´s Civil Hydrography Programme survey providers of high resolution multi-beam bathymetry, providing hydrographic data for updating nautical charts for safe navigation and efficient maritime transport. Currently MMT UK, based in Banbury Oxfordshire, is undertaking two hydrographic surveys in the Shetland Islands on behalf of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency.One survey runs from Yell to Unst and is a 45 day survey running along the coastlines. Mediterranean Pipeline Inspection project

MMT has entered into a contract with Medgaz in Spain for inspection of the offshore pipeline between Algeria and Spain.The project will be performed within the Joint Venture agreement between MMT and Reach Subsea utilizing the vessel Edda Fonn. The pipeline transports gas from Algeria to Spain and crosses the Mediterranean at a maximum depth of 2.155 metres of water. The inspection work will be performed in February 2017.
