No less than three of the projects shortlisted for the Grand Prix awards at the CEDA Conference 2012 featured Moffat catering equipment – and two of them went on to win their categories. The Awards were announced during the Gala dinner, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire on Friday 4th of May.

“It’s a huge honour that these prestigious projects involved our equipment,” says Gary Allen, sales director of Moffat. “As well as congratulating them, we want to say a big ‘thank you’ to Whitco, GS Catering and CNG.”

The three projects were:

  • Vaillant Group staff restaurant, Belper, for which Whitco Catering & Bakery Equipment won the CEDA Sustainability Project award. Moffat supplied foodservice counters for the restaurant.
  • Plymouth City Council Schools, where GS Catering Equipment won Outstanding Customer Service award. Again, Moffat supplied counters for the project.
  • The Clubhouse, Gleneagles, for which CNG Foodservice Equipment was shortlisted for the profit sector (large project) award and for whom Moffat supplied fabrication.
