Moffat expands team with three key appointments
Recruits will help build on success as manufacturer develops new markets and products
Leading UK catering equipment manufacturer E&R Moffat has made three key appointments in its R&D and sales departments as the company enters what managing director William Moffat describes as “a period of significant change.” The three new appointments are in addition to the recent recruitment of John Wannan as Sales and Marketing Manager.
“We’re building for the future,” says William Moffat. “We’ve just celebrated our 50thanniversary and we’re very proud of the Moffat brand’s strength within the catering equipment sector. Whilst maintaining and growing our existing routes to market we will also be exploring new market opportunities and developing new products. These appointments are part of this strategy – they add further depth and experience to our existing team.”
Euan Hunter is Moffat’s new Sales Area Manager for North Wales and the Midlands. He has 15 years’ experience of sales and marketing in the catering industry, gained with Falcon Foodservice and Axon Enterprises, as well as a degree in industrial product design. “This is an exciting time to join Moffat,” he says. “It’s an established company, with leading product brands in its portfolio and dynamic plans for the future.”
Alan Davie has joined Moffat’s Research and Development Department as a Senior R&D Engineer. Alan has extensive product development experience and is recognised as one of the catering equipment industry’s leading experts in induction technology. He previously worked for Falcon Foodservice.
The third new appointment is Danny Scrivener who, as Project Designer, will be working in the Sales Department at Moffat’s Bonnybridge HQ. Danny’s knowledge of the latest catering equipment design software is already being put to good use. He previously worked at Insitu, the Edinburgh-based stainless steel fabrications company.
