Bespoke, hygienic prep surface – at the drop of a bench

British manufacturer E & R Moffat offers drop down prep benches that are just as strong and stable as their regular stainless steel counterpart, yet can be erected or folded flat in under 30 seconds, without tools. They are ideal for event caterers, for those whose kitchen space requirements change regularly, or for any hygienic food prep work that needs to be carried out away from a regular kitchen.

Now Moffat is offering the benches in bespoke lengths, to suit the customer’s requirements.

“A lot of operators need non-standard bench lengths, to match their space or application,” says Gary Allen, sales director of Moffat. “We’ll still offer the regular sizes, ex-stock. But those who have special bench prep requirements can now get just the right size.”

All wall benches have a stainless steel top, which is reinforced with a galvanised plate to give added strength and stiffness to the work surface. They have a 40mm upstand to rear and corresponding turn down on the other three sides. A stainless steel undershelf provides useful storage space as well as holding the legs firmly in position.

Wall benches are 850mm high and standard lengths, available ex-stock, are 1100, 1400 and 1700 mm. Bespoke sizes must be pre-ordered for an extra cost.
