Momondo.com Wins the London Sunday Times’ Test for Best Overall Flight Search!
Little Danish Company Beats out Six Other Major International Online Travel Agents and Airfare Meta-Search Engines!
Copenhagen, Denmark … August 6, 2010 … The Danish flight search engine, www.Momondo.com is hailed as the “Best Overall” flight search website by the London Sunday Times in a comparison test that included seven of the world’s largest travel websites. The newspaper concludes that Momondo should be the “First-stop shop” when booking airfare.
The test is published in the September 2010 issue of the Sunday Times’ travel supplement, released this week. Among others, the test comparison websites included the popular USA-based flight meta-search engine Kayak.com and the world’s largest online travel agency, Expedia.com. The travel sites were assigned points out of ten for usefulness and performance. Momondo scored the highest, the only site garnering 9 out of 10 points!
