About Us

On September 16, 1946, the first Montgomery College classes were held in the evenings at a local high school with a student body of 186 men and women. Today, the College has grown to a multi-campus institution and serves nearly 60,000 students a year, through both credit and noncredit programs, in more than 100 areas of study.

Montgomery College to Host Events to Help Future and Current College Students Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

College-bound students and their families can get professional assistance filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at two upcoming 2014 College Goal Maryland events, which will be held on two different Montgomery College campuses. The first event will take place on February 9 from 2–4 p.m. at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus in the Charlene R. Nunley Student Services Center, 7625 Fenton Street, Silver Spring. The second event will take place on February 27 from 4-6 p.m. at the Germantown Campus in the High Technology and Science Center located at 20200
