Book by Feb. 29 for ‘Luxury Savings’ at upscale Telluride ski resort

Telluride, Colo. – With Colorado’s best snow of the season falling around Telluride, Mountain Lodge at Telluride is offering 40 percent off lodging in its deluxe units through the end of ski season.

With the resort’s Luxury Savings special, guests booking a two-bedroom deluxe condo or luxury cabin between Feb. 4 and April 8 will receive 40 percent off on their stays. In addition, discounted lift tickets are available on most dates.
Reservations must be booked by Feb. 16, and minimum-night stays may apply during certain dates. Luxury Savings lodging rates begin at $347 per night, normally $579 per night.  Availability is very limited during Presidents Week, February 18-25.  However if skiers are willing to look at other dates, they will not find a better value at a World Class Ski Resort.

Luxury lodging
Luxury cabins are private homes on the Mountain Lodge at Telluride property, each with three to six bedrooms, and ranging in size from 2,200 to 2,600 square feet. All cabins offer true ski-in/ski-out locations, and have spectacular views, large decks with gas grills, flagstone entries, vaulted ceilings and native-stone gas fireplaces. Each home has LCD, high-definition, flat-screen televisions, washer and dryer, a Subzero refrigerator, jetted tubs, pine cabinetry, and granite and marble finishes. The luxury cabins are excellent for large groups, large families, or two families that want to share space and cost of a ski vacation, says Neil Hastings, Mountain Lodge at Telluride’s director of marketing and sales.

The deluxe two-bedroom condos, with 1,250 square feet, feature a spacious living room, large dining area, two and a half baths, and double balcony. With a leather sleeper sofa, the unit can accommodate up to eight guests. All units include LCD, high-definition, flat-screen televisions, washer and dryer, and fireplace.

Smart skiers
For those looking to ski Telluride’s world-class mountain, Telluride Ski Resort has 1,700 skiable (and boardable) acres with nearly 100 named runs and 20 lifts. All lifts, more than 90 percent of lift-accessed terrain, and some of the area’s best hike-to skiing terrain are open. Visitors to Mountain Lodge at Telluride also will find six Nordic ski areas, an extensive network of huts for backcountry skiing, three outdoor skating rinks, snowmobiling and dogsledding.

“With this special, the resort’s location and convenience, and the ability to prepare some of your own meals, Mountain Lodge at Telluride offers more for the skiing dollar than anywhere else in North America,” says Hastings. The smart winter visitor gets luxury accommodations, slopeside access, a five-minute walk to the area’s free gondola, and no lift lines. With only 5,000 hotel/lodging beds in Telluride, and a chair lift base that can handle 22,000 skiers an hour, explains Hastings, skiers will never find a chair lift line.
