The Multiplayer Game Will Take Kids into Blippi’s World to Explore Adventures and Exciting Quests Across Curiosity Cove

To Celebrate the Launch, Players are Invited to a Special Immersive Halloween Event on

October 27-29

LONDON, UK – 18 October 2023 – Moonbug Entertainment, a subsidiary of Candle Media, today announced Blippi’s Playground, a new multiplayer game which will be available exclusively on Roblox from Thursday, October 19. The game, accessible on mobile, tablet, PC or Mac, will allow kids to explore Blippi’s world on Roblox as they complete fun quests to earn Blippi tokens, dress up their avatar with exclusive Blippi items, and build and customise their very own playground.

In honor of Blippi’s favorite holiday, Halloween, Blippi’s Playground is launching a special spooky-season themed playground featuring special guests and allowing players to go trick-or-treating around Blippi’s neighborhood, dress up in costume, explore the haunted house, and go hunting for Jack-o’-lanterns in the spooky maze. Each activity features various games along the way encouraging interactivity and problem-solving. Themes will change to reflect seasonal moments and special occasions. To help safeguard kids while they enjoy the Blippi experience on Roblox, the chat function in the game has been removed.

There's so much to explore, learn and enjoy within the game, and we'll also be evolving the experience into something even bigger after Halloween.”

Blippi’s Playground has been developed by Boston-based Roblox studio Suit Up Games, facilitated by gaming specialist agency Player2.

Blippi’s Playground will hold an exciting immersive Halloween event from October 27-29. Exclusively on Roblox, fans are invited to a special experience over the Halloween weekend. This will include:

  • Players will be able to watch the world premiere of the new Blippi Halloween episode, “Blippi’s Jack-o’-Lantern”. The 20-minute live action episode will play in the Curiosity Cove theater with repeat showings throughout the weekend and will not be available on any other platform in 2023.
  • Players will also be invited to a special Jack-o’-Lantern scavenger hunt and will be given multiple opportunities to earn special Halloween items during the experience.
  • Additionally, throughout the Halloween weekend, there will be limited UGC and in-game items giveaways.

Blippi’s Playground is the latest of Moonbug’s gaming properties, expanding the avenues in which fans of Blippi can interact with their favorite characters, engage in fun activities, and foster their curiosity.
