Betty White’s Birthday Wish
Help America’s Golden Girl Raise $10k for Morris Animal Foundation
Denver, January 15, 2013 — Animals are near and dear to her heart, and she’s devoted her life to trying to improve their lives. In support of her charity of choice, Morris Animal Foundation, Betty White is asking fellow animal lovers, like you, for a special birthday gift this year.
“To help celebrate my 91st birthday on January 17, please help me raise $10,000 for Morris Animal Foundation, which will celebrate its 65th anniversary of advancing animal health this year,” said White. “Since a girl like me already has more than I could hope for, I'm asking fellow animal lovers to learn more about Morris Animal Foundation and to consider helping me make this gift to Morris Animal Foundation today.”

White has worked with Morris Animal Foundation for more than 40 years. Since its founding, Morris Animal Foundation has invested more than $70 million toward more than 2,000 health studies for dogs, cats, horses and hundreds of wildlife species, including White’s favorite: the California sea otter!
These studies have led to significant breakthroughs in diagnostics, treatments, preventions and cures for animals. Some of the breakthroughs funded through Morris Animal Foundation have become gold standards in veterinary care.
