Baby Is Born Just In Time For Mother’s DayFor Immediate Release 5/9/2012 SAN DIEGO, CA – The groundbreaking National Children’s Study (NCS) San Diego, which aims to follow local children from before birth until 21 years of age, has welcomed its 100th baby into the study this week. Under the direction of Christina Chambers, PhD, MPH, professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine and Melbourne Hovell, PhD, MPH of San Diego State University’s Graduate School of Public Health, the NCS aims to examine the effects of environmental and genetic factors on the
