Mott MacDonald named on Government Procurement Service’s ConsultancyONE Framework, UK
Mott MacDonald has been awarded a place on the ConsultancyONE framework agreement by Government Procurement Service, formerly known as Buying Solutions. The framework provides a procurement route for strategic, broad based advice across a wide range of disciplines and functions for public sector clients.
To embed procurement efficiency, central government organisations and departments, arm’s length bodies and non-departmental public bodies are mandated to use the framework for all consultancy commissions valued between £100,000 and £2 million. More broadly, ConsultancyONE can be used by the wider public sector, including local authorities, without value restrictions.
Mott MacDonald services that clients can draw on via the ConsultancyONE framework are:
Lot 1 – Multi-Specialism Programme Delivery (RM1502)
Lot 2.1 – Policy Development & Advice (RM1502)
Lot 2.2 – Organisational Strategy (RM1502, won in conjunction with specialist human resources consultants Aquarius Management)
Christian Checkley, Mott MacDonald’s framework director, said: “We are delighted to be awarded a place on the ConsultancyONE framework and are confident that the services we provide will deliver measurable benefits to clients. Never before has the public sector been faced with such sustained challenges to increase efficiency and make significant and decisive savings, while improving the quality and value of their service delivery. This appointment will allow our dedicated team of consulting professionals to demonstrate their skills and make a meaningful contribution to enhance the delivery of public services.”
In recent years Mott MacDonald has advised central government departments and local authorities on a range of issues including strategic market engagement, private finance initiative transactions and knowledge management. The consultancy offers a combination of business and technical skills to deliver pragmatic advice that recognises the unique nature of the many public sector organisations.
The framework agreement will last for two years, with the option to extend for another two further years.
