Mott MacDonald has relocated its Indian oil, gas and petrochemicals (OGP) operations in Mumbai to new premises at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in the suburb of Andheri. The move will enable the company to be closer to its business partners in the region while improving operations efficiency.

Mott MacDonald began OGP operations in India in 2005 and is currently involved in various projects for major national and international companies. These include oil and gas gathering facilities, key cross-country pipeline projects as well as providing engineering consultancy services at refineries and depots at several locations throughout the country.

The newly constructed office boasts state-of-the-art facilities with a total seating capacity of 500. Located conveniently in the commercial suburb of Mumbai in close proximity to both international and domestic airports, the building boasts plenty of natural light and contains improved staff facilities, such as dining and more parking spaces for both cars and motorbikes.

Vinod Shah, Mott MacDonald’s OGP chief operating director, said: “The move complements a re-launch of our OGP operations in India where we aim to strengthen our presence and expand our offering in 2013. Our relocation to MIDC will mean we are ideally positioned to support our clients with our services and innovative solutions.”
