Mott MacDonald strengthens team with appointment of new projects director
Mott MacDonald has appointed Paul Roberts as a projects director to develop the company’s nuclear business and help secure new business in the new build (generation and waste management), decommissioning and defence estate areas.
Paul brings with him both technical and operational expertise and has 20 years experience of critical business programme and major project management, particularly in the nuclear sector.
His most recent role was senior project manager at Jacobs Engineering where he led a front-end project team of 40 multidisciplinary personnel in the identification and development of a new nuclear intermediate level waste processing facility.
Prior to this Paul was programme manager at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), where he lead the establishment of 21 programmes of work covering the full scope of decommissioning activity across the NDA national estate. Paul also led the transition of the Sellafield site from British Nuclear Fuels Ltd into the private sector.
