Mott MacDonald commissioned to design Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge link road

A Dragages-China Harbour-VSL Joint Venture has appointed Mott MacDonald as the lead contractor’s designer for the 9.4km-long viaduct section of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (contract HY/2011/09). This HK$12.867 billion project is the largest single design and build contract ever awarded in Hong Kong. The bridge will support a dual three-lane carriageway over the Pearl River Estuary – one of the world’s busiest shipping channels.
