Uppdateringar om MSC Opera

MSC Opera is being towed to the port of Nynamshamn where all the passenger will be repatriated by today.

Monday May 16th - Following the technical problems to an electrical panel experienced on May 14th, MSC Opera is being towed to the port of Nynamshamn (nearby Stockholm, Sweden) where she is expected at noon. Good weather conditions are favouring the towing operations. On board 80% of services have been restored and this morning passengers had been offered a hot breakfast. All ship’s bars are open with complimentary beverage service. The whole crew,  together with a team of technicians from STX Yards, have been working incessantly to solve the electrical problem.

MSC Cruises team ashore is closely working with the port of Nynamshamn to organize the welcome of all guests.  The repatriation of all passengers from Stockholm is organized by today. MSC Cruises is issuing to all passengers a credit voucher for the whole amount of the 10 day cruise valid until December 2012.
