MTG management changes in the Baltics and expansion of Paprika Latino to the region

Modern Times Group MTG AB (publ.) (‘MTG’ or ‘the Group’), the international entertainment group, today announced that Viasat Broadcasting, which comprises MTG’s television broadcasting operations, will make changes to its Baltic management and the expansion of the production company Paprika Latino to the region.

Baiba Zuzena will be promoted to CEO of MTG’s Latvian Free-TV and radio operations. She joined MTG in 2004 and was most recently COO of Free-TV and Radio in Latvia. Raivo Rosts will continue in his role as CEO Pay-TV Baltics.

Kaspars Ozolins will leave his position as CEO of MTG’s Baltic Broadcasting operations and join Paprika Latino as Head of Baltic Operations in the autumn. The leading Central and Eastern European production group Paprika Latino is expanding its operation to the Baltics and adding Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to its current portfolio of seven countries. MTG Studios, MTG's content division, acquired a 53% stake in Paprika Latino in June 2012.

From 2 September 2013, Marek Singer, Executive Vice President of the Group’s Central European broadcasting will resume the responsibilities as CEO of MTG’s Baltic Broadcasting operations.
