MTG welcomes Nils Mösko as new CFO
Modern Times Group MTG AB (publ) (“MTG”) is happy to announce that we have appointed Nils Mösko as the group’s new Chief Financial Officer. Nils will start after the summer and will join MTG’s executive management team to leverage his extensive experience to support MTG’s operational performance, future expansion through accretive M&A and ensure the group’s continued financial strength. He is taking over from Lasse Pilgaard who has decided to leave MTG to pursue a career closer to his family in Denmark.
Nils has extensive experience in strategy and financial management and has most recently served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Business Development at the electrical vehicle company Polestar. Before this he served as the Global Deputy CFO of Polestar since 2018. He has also held a number of senior financial leadership roles within Volvo Car Group, including most recently Vice President of Investor Relations.
MTG’s Group President and CEO Maria Redin comments:
“I am excited to welcome Nils to the team and look forward to working with him. His extensive experience in financial reporting, controlling and business development, combined with his deep strategic expertise will be key to support MTG on our continued journey as we build our global Gaming Village and execute on our strategy.”
“I would like to thank Lasse Pilgaard for his passion, skill and insight during the last year. Lasse joined MTG at a critical time in our transformation into the pure-play gaming group we are today. He has been instrumental in evolving our pure-play strategy and increasing the quality and transparency of our financial reporting during his time at MTG. I wish him the very best of luck going forward in his continued career.”
MTG’s new Chief Financial Officer, Nils Mösko, adds:
“MTG has a rich games portfolio of great gaming IPs, a strong balance sheet and a clearly defined vision and strategy. I believe that we have significant opportunities to drive MTG’s evolution going forward through a combination of financial discipline, a synergistic approach and future M&A. This will ensure that MTG continues to generate value for our shareholders and strengthen the group’s position as an industry leader. I am very excited to join the group and be part of this journey.”
