Significant framework agreement with The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency (Forsvarsbygg)

Multiconsult Norge AS and LINK Arkitektur AS, in partnership with Asplan Viak AS and LPO arkitekter AS have been nominated for a prestigious framework agreement for consulting and design services to the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency (NDEA) (Forsvarsbygg).
This framework agreement includes multiple projects at several geographical locations. The primary location will be Ramsund in Tjeldsund municipality. Additional projects will be undertaken in Trondenes, Sortland and Haakonsvern. The agreement is multidisciplinary and includes most of our engineering services and architectural services. For Multiconsult Norge AS, this framework agreement will be an addition to other framework agreements already in place with NDEA.
The projects to be carried out include rehabilitation of existing quays as well as design of new quays. The tasks will also include the rehabilitation of existing and new buildings across various categories, establishment of roads and infrastructure, site development, mass handling, ground works, land reclamation and other related activities.
The total value of the agreement is expected to be around NOK 450 million, where NDEA expect that majority of the call offs will be made during the first four (4) years of the agreement. The length of the agreement is set for a duration of four (4) years, where the client has reserved the right to extend the agreement on an annual base five times for a total of nine (9) years up to the year 2032, and work under the first call-off will begin immediately.

The nomination of the contract is subject to a standstill period (NO: karenstid) which expires on 1 November 2024.
