MultiQ grows with BAUHAUS

One of Europe’s most expansive DIY chains, BAUHAUS, is set to increase cooperation with MultiQ and make the move to the company’s new product platform.
For the opening of new stores, MultiQ tailor-made an intelligent information terminal which supplies very practical functions in a small format for both staff and customers.
- We have purchased monitors from MultiQ since 2000. Now that we are about to open new stores and at the same time replace existing monitors with new ones, MultiQ is a natural partner for cooperation, says Steen Hestehauge, technical manager at BAUHAUS Scandinavia.

The information terminals are supplied in two versions:
• A 15" monitor with integrated card reader for staff login
• A twin screen solution in two sizes, 15" and 12", with scanners, where customers can search for prices and goods information.

The terminals are supplied in colours from the BAUHAUS profile program and are mounted on MultiQ’s POS poles.

- BAUHAUS is an exciting customer in many ways, says Thomas Keifer, MD at MultiQ. Not only because they are in a phase of expansion but also because they use the whole range of our products. BAUHAUS is also one of our larger customers in Germany and places running orders for its 135 stores. It is especially encouraging that we have received enquiries from other European countries. BAUHAUS in Austria have received their first deliveries and discussions are ongoing in a number of other markets where BAUHAUS is represented.

The order, which will be delivered in cooperation with Symtech Nordic A/S, covers about 100 installations per year.
