MultiQs flat monitors now also at Lufthansa, Frankfurt

Once again the Malmö company MultiQ has received an order from a major European airport. 373 flat-panel monitors are to be supplied to Lufthansa Frankfurt for installation at the check-in desks. Airports are one of MultiQs key areas, with customer-specific flat-panel monitors already installed in most Nordic airports. However, with the order from Lufthansa, along with the previous order from Schiphol Amsterdam, the company is gradually building up a market in the rest of Europe. In conjunction with an update of the platform at Frankfurt Airport, MultiQ has received an order for 373 monitors to be installed at the check-in desks. The order comes from SITA, international specialists in fitting out airports. The installation of our monitors is part of the first stage of refurbishing the check-in desks at Lufthansa Frankfurt. An important consideration in the choice of monitors was robustness. With their aluminium chassis and built-in protective glass, the monitors will be able to stand up to the challenges of an airport environment, explains Hermann Butzon, Site Manager Frankfurt. However, we were also attracted by the timeless design, as we are looking to achieve a stylish environment at our airports. Being able to have our logo on the rear of the monitors was also a plus, as it promotes our brand. This order strengthens our confidence in the future, says Martin Gullberg, MultiQs MD.
