Strategic order from SITA: MultiQ monitors to be placed at Arlanda International Airport

Report this content

MultiQ has obtained an order from SITA for 324 flat monitors to be placed at Arlanda and other Swedish airports. The particular significance of the order is its exposure value and the potential represented by SITA’s decision, based on its special requirements, to use MultiQ for its front applications once again. According to Jonathan Nilsson, CEO of MultiQ International AB, "Although the order will account for only a small percentage of next year´s sales, it has major exposure value. Furthermore, it underlines the importance of the acknowledgment from SITA that we obtained last fall. For MultiQ, this opens the door to airports around the world." Owing to the distinct niche strategy that MultiQ has developed in the past year, the company no longer competes directly with mass producers of flat monitors and the number of prospects has grown dramatically. The impact is expected to show up over the next year. Nilsson continues, "Airports represent the kind of public setting at which MultiQ´s concept is particularly appropriate." SITA, (Societé Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques) is the leading global supplier of telecom and IT solutions to the air transport industry. With over 50 years of experience, the company markets products to more than 700 members in 220 countries. All of MultiQ´s flat monitors, flat panel computers and thin clients are exceptionally sturdy. As a result, they are perfectly suitable for checkout lines, production sites, and public settings. Part of the unique and powerful concept is the ability of businesses to adapt MultiQ´s products to their own logo, design, and colors. You are welcome to view examples at www.multiq.se, where you may also design your own monitor based on the setting in which you intend to place it. MultiQ´s sales stem increasingly from specially designed products and less from standard monitors. The trend is part of the company´s conscious strategy of utilizing its know-how to provide customized solutions for customers who are dissatisfied with standard products.
