New Spanish Language TV Network MundoFOX Celebrates with Star-studded Launch Party

Los Angeles, CA – August 10, 2012 – Fox, in conjunction with RCN Television Group of Colombia, hosted a special event to celebrate the launch of MundoFOX, the new Spanish-language broadcast network for American Latinos that debuts Monday.

The star-studded party began with the red carpet arrivals of the new network’s celebrities, executives and programming talent in L.A. Thursday night followed by a special presentation by Emiliano Saccone, President of MundoFOX, as well as a special live concert by one of Latin music’s chart-topping group 3BallMTY.

Among the network’s well known stars scheduled to attend the event included award winning actors Marlon Moreno, Andres Suarez and Maria Adelaida Puerta, in the Spanish hit “El Capo;” Christopher Von Uckermann, star of the critically-acclaimed “Kdabra;” Carlos Espejel and Roselyn Sanchez in the comedy series “ESPOSOS;” Marco Antonio Regil, host of the new game show “Minuto Para Ganar;” and Noticias MundoFOX news personalities Palmira Perez and Pili Montilla.

Other tentative dignitaries and celebrities included L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, actress Rosie Perez, gossip columnist Perez Hilton, actor Wilmer Valderrama and many Colombian actors on RCN shows.

MundoFOX debuts August 13 with scripted dramas, news, sports, game shows and comedies. It will air in over 50 markets reaching almost 80% of U. S. Hispanic households.
