    Munters Data Center Technologies wins order for cooling distribution units

    Munters has received an order with a value of MSEK 375 (appr. MUSD 35), from a new customer who is a leading data center colocation provider in the US. The order is for the Munters LCX system, a water-to-water cooling distribution unit (CDU) utilized for liquid cooled servers.The data center segment is one of Munters prioritized growth areas, and its leading technology is well suited to the demanding and fast changing requirements in the datacenter industry. As processing units grow more powerful to handle increasingly complex workloads, servers generate more heat to be managed efficiently.

    Strong growth and profits, but continued weak battery outlook

    July-September: · Order intake increased +21% (+18% organic) with strong growth in Data Center Technologies (DCT), offset by negative organic development in AirTech as well as FoodTech. In AirTech, the battery sub-segment was weaker in all regions. DCT had a good level of smaller and mid-sized orders in North and Latin America.
