MUNTERS APPOINTS SOFIA GELLAR AS GROUP VICE PRESIDENT HUMAN RESOURCES & COMMUNICATION

Sofia Gellar has been appointed Group Vice President Human Resources & Communication for Munters and member of the Group Management team. She has more than 20 years of experience within Human Resources.

Currently Sofia Gellar is Head of Corporate HR and Head of HR Support at Scania.

She has a broad HR experience from large global companies and she has held a number of qualified positions amongst others as Head of Talent Management SSAB EMEA and VP Human Resources Ruukki Construction. She has also been leading a number of initiatives related to development and effectiveness such as implementations of HR IT Systems and “Shared Service Center” solutions for HR. In her latest role she had the responsibility for HR communication in internal and external channels.

Sofia Gellar will report to the CEO and assume her position during October of 2018.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Development and Labor Relations from, Stockholm University in Sweden. 

The role was previously held by Per-Arne Håkansson, who has retired after 7 years with Munters.
