Per Segerström replaces Hannu Saastamoinen as new President of Division HumiCool.

Hannu Saastamoinen has accepted a new position as CEO and part-owner in the Finnish company Huurre Group, specialists in industrial refrigeration. Per Segerström has been appointed the new President of the division. Per is presently head of Industrial Dehumidification, the largest business area within the Dehumidification Division. Per joined Munters in early 2003 after several years in the ABB Group where he held various leadership positions. “The appointment is an obvious step in Per’s development with Munters. He has managed the positive development of Division Dehumidification in Europe and during the past year managed the largest part of the global dehumidification business. It is natural that Per assumes the responsibility of one of Munters’ divisions, and that he joins the Group Management”, says Lennart Evrell, CEO of Munters. Mike McDonald, President Dehumidification Division, will assume Per’s duties in addition to his present responsibility as head of the Dehumidification Division. Hannu Saastamoinen joined Munters in 2004 as head of Division HumiCool Europe. “After many years abroad I now have a possibility to return to Finland in a way that suits both my career and my family situation”, says Hannu Saastamoinen. “During his time with Munters, Hannu has increased the division’s sales and profitability in an impressive way, among others through a number of structural changes. I regret that we now lose Hannu. We wish him best of luck in his new position”, says Lennart Evrell. The changes are effective as from the 1st of August.
