Munters MCS restore values for millions in Poland Munters Moisture Control Services (MCS) has been awarded contracts to a total value of SEK 3,6 million by different Polish partners. The contracts are financed by Sida; the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. During the spring of 1999 Munters will dry public buildings in Poland which were damaged during the floods of 1997. The Swedish Government decided on 19 th March to allocate SEK 5 million for drying public buildings in Poland, the reason being that the need was greater than expected. Drying is essential for a successful renovation of the buildings. - We are very pleased that our MCS Division proves to be a key partner in restorations of buildings in Poland, says Lennart Evrell, CEO of the Munters Group. - During the fall of 1998 MCS have worked on a extensive drying project in Poland, financed by the German equivalence to Sida, GTZ (Gesellscaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit), where we have dried 250 buildings and houses. Munters MCS is the world leader in moisture control service. In Europe there are 200 depots with qualified personnel operating 24 hours a day. Munters MCS is continuously developing new technology and services. For example; during 1998 MCS has invested in a new advanced leak detection equipment for finding hidden leakage. Using the new technology Munters is able to find the exact location of the leakage without doing any damage to the property. Munters MCS is also assisting in surface treatment when the correct humidity is decisive for the best possible quality. Dry air is splendid means of preparing surfaces which are to be painted, for example inside pipelines, water and oil tanks and hulls.
